Gunnar didn’t look like himself at UFC 194 and having a bad day when your opponent is the five time BJJ world champion Demian Maia is not a good thing. Maia controlled all the three rounds and even though Gunna made some excellent attempts to escape and fight him off Maia held control of the fight more or less through all the three rounds. The fight finally went to the judges who fairly ruled in Maia’s favor. Gunnar will learn a lot from this fight and come back stronger.
